Understanding historic buildings

Saturday, 10 October at St Anthony's Hall (the Quilt Museum), Peasholme Green, York

This workshop will provide an introduction to historic buildings which will enable a greater understanding of their form, fabric and function, and their change through time. The morning session, led by Adam Menuge and Lynne Walker, will provide information and advice which will be put into practice during the afternoon session when delegates will take part in a visual survey of local historic buildings.

Places on the CBA workshops are free (including lunch and refreshments).

In addition CBA does have a hardship fund which can assist with travel costs, although we do ask delegates to take advantage of cheaper rail fares.

To book your place on this workshop, please send your details by email to Sue Morecroft, or telephone 01904 671417, or post to Council for British Archaeology, St Mary's House, 66 Bootham, York. YO30 7BZ.

The CBA workshop programme is funded by English Heritage and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.

Details of the workshop are available HERE.
